How to describe this incredible experience???

You cannot imagine how different people could be in the other part of the world. Did you think anytime which are the daily thoughts of hundreds of people waiting for a train in Hassan( a little town in the middle of nowhere in India) or in Sagarakatte.

Are they thinking about the New Year's Eve??? Or about the Three Wise Men??? Or if this toy is dangerous for their large number of children? Not at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But don´t feel guilty, Your place is here. God (anyname you would call him or her) give you the right to be born in the north, where people could ask themselves about these silly things.

Happy new year for all…

Between the Dictator and Me

Yesterday I went to the CCCB in Barcelona because I wanted to assist to the premiere of the fim "Between the Dictator and Me". It was in 150 places at the same time. With the question, "When was the first time you heard about Franco?" as a starting point , six young directors make a short documentary about their own memory and their personal recollection. The sum of their views provides a pluralistic reflection on our history (and present days), a review of the legacy and prevalence, apparent or hidden, of Francisco Franco's figure, a glance at the present in order to find the key to the past and to understand a world where the figure of dictators persists, unfortunately, even nowadays.

At the end of the film no-one clapped the film and some people went out the Auditorium. At the beggining I didn´t understand why?. Immediately started a debate with one of the young directors, Sandra Ruesga and one historiam. When some people of the public started to give his opinion they was very critical with the film, most of them thought the film was a crap and the didn´t understand why "Generalitat de Catalunya, Diputació de Barcelona, Tarragona, Lleida y Girona" could support this kind of films. They thought the film wasn´t a film about Franco( A killer, a Dictator) and they critiziced they had losen the opportunity to report all the crimes, abuses, murders and things Franco did.

They had the hope to watch a film more compromised and political.

Afterthat the organization wanted to clarify the film wasn´t a political film, It was only a personal point of view of each director.
